Through the strum and refrain of his verse, Adam Trice is a adept chronicler of the irrational—revealing the origins beneath the dirt on the soles of our collective consciousness.

Imbued with a new American duende, the visceral authenticity within the layers of his poetry is, at once, evocative and liberating. Shadows and forms wander through each vignette. He wears the darkness well, and the laughter.

Searching within and without simultaneously, the subtle biographical qualities of his work are accompanied by explorations of cosmology and waffle diners, pharmaceutical reps and dissonance, la la morte, and glimpses of a social fabric designed to confuse.
